The third livery released was "Taystee" and was released within the USA in May 1980 as part of a redemption offer with the American Bakeries Co. Lesney then decided to make it a general release to replace the 'Chocolat Menier'.

Van sides: 'Taystee' in white on red oval with white surround.
- 'OLD FASHIONED ENRICHED BREAD' in black.

Variations/Rarities: First released in 1980 with the body and chassis all in yellow, but since 1981 the chassis with fenders were painted black.
Red or dark red wheels were complemented with whitewall tyres. Wheel variations were plenty, and although the official policy was to fit whitewall tyres, issues have been found with black tyres!
Exceptionally, the red solid wheels were also fitted to the version with a black chassis.

Taystee decals without a white border are promotional "American Bakeries" issues and considered as Code 2. When American Bakeries discovered that they had run out, they obtained permission from Lesney Products to make new labels and these are instantly recognised by the lack of the white outline around the word 'Taystee'.
